- The Renovation Process
A real remodel.
Not a paint job.
- The Honest Truth
The pool industrycuts a lot of corners.
Pool remodels are one of the easiest places in construction to get cheated. The structural work is buried under finish; the plumbing is buried under deck. By the time you find out a shortcut was taken, the company is gone.
We don't take the shortcuts below - and we'll show you the inspection reports proving it, via your Builder Trend portal, every step of the way.
- Shortcuts We Refuse To Take
Four of the most common ways remodels go wrong.
Skipping Bond-Beam Repair
Cheap remodelers paint over hairline cracks instead of opening up and repairing them. Two summers later, the failure is bigger and more expensive.
Re-using Old Plumbing
They run new finish over plumbing that's already failing. Within years, you're jackhammering the new deck to fix old pipes.
Substandard Finishes
Plaster or quartz instead of Pebble Tec. Cheaper today, half the lifespan, and a quarter of the depth and color.
No Pressure-Test Before Pour
They pour finish over plumbing they never tested. Leaks below the waterline are diagnosed only after the new finish is already in.
- How We Actually Do It
Six phases, every single time.
Inspection
On-site assessment with our project lead. We look at the bond beam, plumbing, equipment, deck, and finish - and tell you the truth about what needs to happen.
Scope & Engineering Plan
A written remodel plan. No vague language. Every line item, every material, every sub-contractor - documented and pre-priced.
Drain, Chip-Out & Repairs
Full drain, finish chip-out, and a true bond-beam inspection. Plumbing pressure-tested. Hydrostatic relief verified. Repairs done before anything else goes on.
Tile, Coping & Deck
Modern waterline tile and stone coping by Florida's top tile masons. Deck refresh - pavers, travertine, or stamped concrete - engineered for proper drainage.
Pebble Tec Finish
Exclusively Pebble Tec. Hand-applied by certified installers. Inspected line-by-line before fill begins.
Equipment, Start-Up & Walkthrough
Jandy equipment commissioned, water chemistry started, and full owner walkthrough. Warranty paperwork in your Builder Trend portal day one.
